Yousef Al Yousef
Yousef M. AlYousef, is the Executive Director of National Energy Efficiency Program (NEEP). He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 1995, and his MS in Nuclear Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA in 2000 and his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania, USA in 2004.

Alyousef received the award of Teaching Excellence from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2003. He is an associate professor of Energy Research Institute at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. His research interest is mainly focusing on the areas of heat transfer two-phase flow, Fuel cell, and energy efficiency. He is currently holding a position of executive director of National Energy Efficiency Program (NEEP) since 2006.
