 Dr. Amer Al-Swaha is the Head of the Independent Power Producers Program, from 2007, and reporting to the P&CEO of the Saudi Electricity Company, The Electricity Provider in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Amer has been with the company from 1981, and worked in a number of positions starting from a Senior Engineer until his promotion to a Senior Vice President in 2002. He worked in the areas of System planning, System operations, support services and different corporate management positions.
Dr. Amer is an Electrical Engineer and a Member of IEEE, and received his Ph.D. in Control, in 1977, from the University of Manchester, U.K.
