Dr. Abdulrahman AL-Ibrahim is the Vice Governor of the Electricity and Cogeneration Regulatory Authority (ECRA) for Consumers & Service Providers Affairs. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA (1996). His present research interests include renewable energy system modelling & analysis, energy conservation & load management, thermal & power system analysis, and electric industry regulations including customer care. In 1995, he was awarded the State of Wisconsin Governor’s Energy Fellowship
for contributions to the advancement of energy utilization and conservation through innovative research. He was also awarded the Best Speaker Award during the ECON-2002 Meeting & Exhibition. |
